Hansae MK (CEO Dong-nyeong Kim, Moon-hwan Kim), Korea's leading fashion company, won the 'Korea Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award' at the <24th Corporate Innovation Awards Ceremony> jointly held by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Celebrating its 24th anniversary this year, the 'Corporate Innovation Awards' is an awards ceremony that the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been running since 1994 to spread the best practices of corporate management innovation. In order to contribute to the improvement of industrial productivity and the strengthening of corporate capabilities, excellent corporate management cases are discovered and rewarded every year.

At the awards ceremony, Hanse MK was awarded the 'Korea Chamber of Commerce Chairman's Award' in recognition of its innovation in clothing distribution management using RFID (Radio frequency identification) tags, which means electronic labels. The RFID system reduces work time through rapid and accurate inventory management, and enables the entry of individual product histories, etc., thus minimizing disputes between producers and stores, enabling a transparent distribution network to be established.

Hansae MK first built an RFID system in 2014 for efficient store operation and distribution management, and through this, achieved an innovation that accelerated product inspection time by more than 25 times. In fact, it succeeded in maximizing the efficiency by reducing the inspection time per box from warehousing, shipping, and return to just 7 seconds after introduction from 180 seconds before introduction.

In addition, the warehousing inspection rate, which was previously only in the 10% range, has been perfected to 100%, and one person can handle the work that had to be done by 7.8 people. In addition, real-time inventory locations can be easily identified, enabling quick customer service, and positive effects are also seen in sales expansion.
